Elimination is a process in Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action when a team (Screaming Gophers, Killer Bass, Screaming Gaffers or Killer Grips) or the camp votes off one camper.

Elimination occurs during a campfire ceremony or awards ceremony. Chris will hand out a marshmallow or Gilded Chris Award and whoever doesn't receive one has been eliminated from the contest. He says once you walk the Dock of Shame or Red Carpet of Shame, you can never come back, "ever". However, in "No Pain, No Game" the producers bring back Izzy and Eva come back as contestants, which prompts Chris to say, "I lied." Also, things that aren't even human can be voted off.

During the first and second season of the Total Drama Series, a camper always had a video made of their best moments and how they were eliminated, posted on the official Cartoon Network website.

Also, all the eliminations have a pattern:

• In two members: Ezekiel (Bass), Eva (Bass), Noah (Gopher), Justin (Gopher), Katie (Bass), Tyler (Bass)
• In three members: Izzy (Gopher), Cody (Gopher), Beth (Gopher), Sadie (Bass), Courtney (Bass), Harold (Bass)
• Member of different teams: Eva again (Bass), Trent (Gopher), Bridgette (Bass), Lindsay (Gopher), DJ (Bass), Izzy again (Gopher), Geoff (Bass), LeShawna (Gopher), Duncan (Bass), Heather (Gopher)

It can also be noted that in Total Drama Action, out of the first seven people eliminated, six of them were Owen, Izzy, Gwen, Trent, Bridgette and Geoff. They are all in a couple, which may (mostly likely not) spoil anything between LeShawna and Harold, or Duncan and Courtney.

And coincidentally, there is the same pattern that the previous season in Total Drama Action, starting with E-Scope. Also, the teams are relatives.

• In two members: E-Scope (Grip), Trent (Grip), Gwen (Gaffer), DJ (Gaffer), Izzy or Explosivo (Grip), Owen (Grip), Heather (Gaffer), LeShawna (Gaffer), Justin(Grip) and Lindsay (Grip)
  • Also, (if you have Bridgette technically be eliminated first and Geoff second) the eliminations seem to be going Female then Male:
• Bridgette (Female), Geoff (Male), E-Scope (Female), Trent (Male), Gwen (Female), DJ (Male), Izzy or Explosivo (Female), Owen (Male), and Heather (Female)
  • With LeShawna's elimination, the pattern has been broken. However with Justin's elimination, it is expected to return to a Female-Male pattern.

Lindsay	Female	Screaming Gophers	16th	That's Off the Chain!	Thanks to Heather she crossed the finish line second, but since Owen and Duncan couldn't make it to the finish line due to their bikes destroyed, by a technicality, she was the last to cross the finish line.

Lindsay	Female	Killer Grips	12th	Rock n' Rule	Lindsay tries to get Beth, Owen and Harold to vote off Duncan, but during the elimination, Beth distracts her and she eliminates herself. Owen votes off Courtney to cause trouble (like Chris wanted him to) and Courtney and Duncan also voted Lindsay off.
LeShawna Jr.	Female	Not on any team (technicaly on Screaming Gaffers since Harold found her)	13th	Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen	LeShawna Jr. (Harold's snail that carries the memory of LeShawna) can actually talk to Harold as he says, and at the end of the episode Harold asks LeShawna Jr. if he could do anything for her because of Harold's victory, and LeShawna Jr. wants Harold to put her back in nature.
