Courtney, labeled "The Type A" and "Over-Achiever" of the group, was a camper from Total Drama Island on the Killer Bass team. Although she was originally unqualified for Total Drama Action, she later returned to the show in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine (Due to a lawsuit) on the Killer Grips, and was competing as the central antagonist for the second half of the season.

Biography

Total Drama Island

Courtney thinks of herself a born leader, not letting others have a chance, she quickly took the role as the leader of the Killer Bass. Although she is extremely bossy, competitive, and critical, she can also be genuinely civil and polite to her fellow campers, and unlike Heather, she does not resort to making alliances, and then just dumping them. Being an overachiever, she does have a tendency to overreact when things go wrong and often reminds everyone of her CIT (Counselor in Training) experience when the others begin to question her judgment.

During the first challenge in Not So Happy Campers - Part 2, she is one of the three people who refused to jump off the cliff into shark-infested water, saying her refusal to participate in the challenge is a calculated risk, as she underestimates the Screaming Gophers team, assuming most of them will be too afraid to jump, thus giving her team the win. However, because she refused to jump, she was forced to wear a chicken hat for the entire day along with fellow camper DJ, who has a fear of heights. Courtney is stricken with bad luck with the first challenge; she gets a swollen eye due to an allergic reaction to a bee sting and despite her leadership skills, her team fails to properly build a hot tub. Afterward, the other Killer Bass members considered voting her off due to her attitude and refusal to jump off the cliff, finding DJ (the other one who did not jump) as more of an asset to the team in future challenges (Duncan says he rather have DJ rather than her). However, coincidentally, Ezekiel made some sexist comments about his fellow female team members and he picked his nose in public, which results in him getting eliminated and Courtney getting the last marshmallow. Despite her rough start, Courtney eventually manages to play the game well (even befriending Bridgette and some others).

Courtney tried to outlast the other campers in The Big Sleep by running in place. She was the twelfth or thirteenth to fall asleep. Courtney really takes the leadership role of her team, in Dodgebrawl. She instructs them as they are playing the game. She does, perhaps unintentionally, insult some of her fellow campers (commenting on how useless Tyler and Harold were, and referring to the other team's Cody as an "easy out"). She also uses her role as leader to inform Duncan that he will be eliminated if he does not contribute in the challenge. Despite her underestimation of Harold, he wins the game for the Killer Bass in the end.

As revealed in Not Quite Famous, Courtney has a talent for playing the violin. Courtney usually overconfident and overestimates her abilities and underestimates the others', especially her own teammates. Despite Harold's win for the Bass in the previous episode, Courtney refuses to let him participate in the talent show. When left with no other options, she agrees to allow him to participate. Harold again wins the challenge for his team. In Phobia Factor, Courtney insisted that she was not afraid of anything. She tried to help her teammates face their fears by telling them that fear is only in the mind. She did successfully encourage DJ to overcome his fear of snakes, and she helped Duncan to overcome his fear of Celine Dion music store standees. As her turn came to dive into a vat of green jelly, Chris revealed that she would earn her team triple points if she performed her task. She did not overcome her fear, which was the main thing that cuased her team to lose the challenge. Luckily for her, she was not eliminated in this episode.

Courtney has a relationship with Duncan. At first Courtney seems to view Duncan as a troublemaker who is hard to work with, getting annoyed, uptight, and paranoid whenever he starts causing trouble. She always criticizes him on his actions (which he greatly enjoys). However, romantic sparks start to up when Duncan starts to develop a crush on her and begins to flirt with her. In Basic Straining, Courtney goes against her usual mentality of following the rules. She tells her team she is going to check on Duncan and Geoff, while her team teases her by saying she likes Duncan, but she still won’t admit it. She goes to the fish cabin, where she and Duncan talk for some time, while Duncan finally convinces Courtney to break some more rules and the two of them steal real food from Chef's kitchen for themselves and their fellow campers. Through this experience, Courtney begins to get a thrill out of breaking the rules and starts to have fun. While the other campers are eating the stolen goods, Courtney reaches for another s'more. Bridgette tells her that she had enough, but Courtney refuses to listen. She soon runs out of the cabin to puke. Duncan follows her saying that she has a dark side. Though Courtney says Duncan is still not her type, she quickly grabs him and makes out with him after wishing each other the best in their contrasting lifestyles. Courtney's personality changes drastically after this, developing a greater sense of humor, and focusing less on following the rules and winning challenges. However, her team loses in this episode, and at the following Campfire ceremony, Courtney is voted off due to Harold, (who spotted the two kissing) rigging the votes to get revenge on Duncan for all the pranks he pulled.

Courtney objects to the elimination as Chef and Chris drag her to the Boat of Losers. Duncan, DJ and Geoff are left dumbfounded as they know for a fact that they did not vote Courtney off, making it highly unlikely that she would be eliminated (as they had not considered nor figured out that the votes were tampered with). Before the boat is out of sight, Duncan rushes to the dock and throws Courtney a miniature skull he made for her and waves goodbye. Courtney finds it kind of weird and creepy, but loves it and promises she will never forget Duncan. When she returns in the final episode, she seems more like her old self. However, she shows signs of change (when she says danger is "kinda hot") as she and Duncan kiss several times (though she still claims that he is not her type and he says she makes him sick).

In the episode "Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island", Courtney teams up with Duncan to win the last challenge and get a million dollars. She gets over excited and kisses Duncan after pulling him out from the pile of people, and she seemed ruthless (this is most likely because she started to remember how much fun it was to be bad and thus it started to completely change her personality). She is shown to be obsessed with winning the money, even willing to leave Duncan behind when he sprains his ankle; unable to walk on his own (after he wrestled an alligator for her). She promised she would still split the money with him, but admitted that she did not want Duncan slowing her down, (ironically, she said the same thing to Harold at the beginning of this episode, who is an adversary of both her and Duncan). While she is trying to escape with the money, she slammed into a large mirror, and discovered that they are not really on an island. Chris then sent an intern to retrieve her, but she stole his hot air balloon to help her get the case back. She soon caught Owen, Tyler, DJ, and Cody (who had the case at the time) on a microphone, demanding the case in exchange for their safety. She threatened that she would let them fall to their deaths if they did not do otherwise. She eventually stole the case, but once again lost it due to the bear interfering. Courtney then wound up on the diving board with Owen, Cody, Tyler, LeShawna, DJ, Bridgette, Katie, Sadie, and Geoff. After an airplane crashed into the diving board's ladder and support beam, breaking it, the board fell off its stand, causing some of the campers to fall on the broken plane wing and slide over towards the dock. However, Courtney was amongst the campers who fell in the pool below and was unable to make to the dock in time, therefore was not allowed to compete for the money next season. However, near the end of the episode, Courtney foreshadowed in a confessional that she would not give up so easily.

Total Drama Action

Courtney is a late comer to the competition. Due to the fact that she didn't make it to the Dock of Shame with the other winners, she was unable to join the cast on the set. For the first part of the season, she is only seen with the other non returning campers. However she makes numerous attempts off screen to get back on the show (as she feels cheated after how Harold rigged the votes.). Eventually, she manages to win a lawsuit and successfully get back on the show in the episode Ocean's Eight - Or Nine. Courtney this season seems to take up a new antagonist role, as her lawsuit grants her unfair advantages over the other cast mates. As a result, she is hated by nearly everyone (including Chris) on the set. Courtney also sports a slightly different personality, she is shown to be much more edger and much more competitive (as in Million Dollar Babies she actually shoves a dirty diaper into Duncan's mouth). Courtney also shows a large number of unexpected skills never before shown before (such karate and guitar skills). Despite their relationship, Courtney and Duncan are the worst of enemies this season, as Courtney is angry at Duncan for past actions with Gwen and Duncan struggles to avoid the same fate as Trent when Gwen was on the opposing team. Nonetheless, the two clearly have feelings for each other, which often is conflicted with their competitive feelings. Courtney also takes up the role of Lindsay's personal antagonist (similar to Duncan and Harold). Courtney hates Lindsay for being popular with the other castmates (believing her to be clearly dumb) and Lindsay hates Courtney for overshadowing her strategic plans. As a result, the two are always fighting on the set (though the conflict is mainly on Courtney's end than Lindsay's).

Courtney appears in the The Aftermath: I with the non-returning (and eliminated) characters. She is trying to sue the show again, though it is currently unknown on what charges since she lost her lawsuit for wrongful termination of the competition last season. At the beginning of the episode, when the characters are taking sides on the Gwen/Trent breakup situation, Courtney is on 'team' Gwen. She says it is not because she likes Gwen, but because she considers Trent a "loser by choice". However, after Trent comes on the show and explains the real reason behind his obsession of the number nine, she sides with Trent (along with Katie and Sadie). When Trent explains how his relationship with Gwen went downhill on account of her budding friendship with Duncan, Courtney becomes extremely angry and/or jealous, determined to take her anger out on Duncan when she eventually makes her way into the competition.

Courtney appears in The Aftermath: ll, where she is still suing the show but has been advised not to comment on the issue. She is extremely angry with Gwen from the beginning of the episode, as she had suspected that Gwen and Duncan had feelings for one another. As Gwen enters the stage you can hear Courtney booing. Gwen insists that she and Duncan do not like each other, and that Duncan is still "all about Courtney". They then show a clip of Duncan and Gwen looking at the stars on a bridge. While Gwen begins to use the constellations to poke fun at Harold, Duncan stares into the sky, wondering if Courtney is looking at the stars also. The clip stops there at first, and Courtney's face softens and she smiles. The clip then continues at Geoff's suggestion, and ends with Duncan on top of Gwen a mere inch or two from her lips. This clip only angers Courtney further, even when Gwen insisted they were only friends. Courtney then leaves the stage, announcing that she is going to consult her lawyer (foreshadowing her return).

Courtney finally returns to the competition in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine, first appearing as the bank teller in the first challenge. As the bank teller, Courtney is allowed to choose who gets the which of the two prizes. The first prize of the first challenge was the "loot," which she gave to the Screaming Gaffers (even if only for Duncan whom she is still sweet for). However, this resulted in the second prize called the "consolation prize" (which was herself) going to the Killer Grips. She quickly assumes leadership of the team, but quickly earns the scorn of her entire team for her desire to win, and her bossy attitude. However, she does not seem to care what they think of her. At the Gilded Chris Awards Ceremony, she did not receive an award, as her lawyer made her immune to elimination in this episode. Despite this the other Killer Grips still voted for her to leave, so only her vote counted eliminating Owen from the team.

In One Million Bucks, B.C. she becomes easily hated, especially amongst the other girls. Before the challenge, Chris says due to Courtney's lawyers, she is allowed to have a PDA and eat with the crew. Everyone soon complains about that. Courtney tries to quiet them down by saying she will still sleep in the trailers like everyone else. Chris, wanting to cause drama, says that she gets specials linens and her very own bathroom. Duncan teases Courtney by saying she can not win unless she cheats. Courtney says she can win with even with her hands tied up. In the first part of the challenge Courtney says she will make the fire because she was a CIT which got on LeShawna's nerves. Courtney and Duncan have a stare down when making the fire both determine to beat each other. When Duncan made fire Courtney complained that the flint she has was fake and impossible to build fire with. Lindsay proved her wrong. Before the second part of the challenge, Courtney hits Duncan in the head with a bone before Chris got the chance to fully explain the rules. Chris does approve on her enthusiasm. Courtney and Duncan are forced to fight on a single platform because prehistoric beavers destroyed the other platform. Courtney struggled to find balance on the platform and accidentally kissed Duncan. In the confessional, Courtney says that Duncan has a strong animal magnetism but she will still hit him where it hurts. Courtney knocks Duncan off the platform and wins for her team. During this episode Heather tries to cut off Courtney's hair in order to have it for herself, and she does manage to get just a snip of it.

In Million Dollar Babies, Courtney starts acting nicer towards her teammates, having cheered them on during the challenges. However, she remains bitter with Duncan and continues to make things hard for him. She is shocked to learn of the bad things LeShawna said about her during the former's trip to the spa, and is especially angry to learn that Beth used her PDA behind her back. She later forgives her when LeShawna leads a cheer and compliments Courtney for being so organized. Courtney fights Duncan in the kiddie ball match and ultimately overpowers him, much to Duncan's frustration. In the end, Courtney and her team once again prevailed over the Screaming Gaffers.

In Dial M for Merger, Courtney actually shows a more cheating side, as she tries to get her lawyers to find away to kick out LeShawna. Courtney gets worried about Duncan when he is knocked into a pit and calls him "Dunky". When she is by the pit, she is hit and she also is K.o.'d where she also falls into the pit. After everyone wakes up in a mysterious underground cave, she can't find her PDA until Beth picks it up and gives her the sign "I'm watching you" and takes back her PDA. Courtney shows in this episode that she has a few kung fu skills, as she does a flying kick to break the glass around a vase during a challenge. Courtney also blackmails all the contestants by promising to save them from an exploding building, in exchange for half the prize money from whoever won the show and before that stealthily dodged security lasers. However the deal was undone at the end of the episode, as the other cast mates blackmailed her back in exchange for soaking in the tomato juice pool (in order to get the smell out of her). Courtney again tries to cheat during the deactivating a bomb challenge by contacting her lawyers to get her the best experts at disarming a bomb. Unfortunately, she is unable to reach her lawyers and is forced to deactivate it herself. Following Lindsay's example, she cuts the blue wire and successfully deactivates her bomb. The other cast mates do the same, but discover that not all the bombs are set up the same way and the bombs go off, covering everyone in a horrible garbage smell. Despite this, Courtney and Lindsay won the challenge though but refused to go to the cheese factory reward tour. Courtney may have lost the use of her PDA in this episode as it wasn't able to reach her lawyers and she stuck it in the tomato juice (which happens to be water proof because she is still able to use it in the next episode)

In Super Hero-ld, it is shown in the episode recap that Courtney does go to take the tour of the local cheese factory alongside Lindsay, despite her earlier refusal to go. Lindsay is so excited that she starts hugging Courtney, much to the latter's intense annoyance. Courtney creates a costume and takes the identity the Human Cricket (and thanks to some steel plates on her feet, the outfit really makes a creaky annoying sound). Courtney manages to win invincibility in the second challenge. The guys and the girls want to vote her off, but know they can't due to her invincibility. Courtney manages to convince Harold to vote for LeShawna's elimination, telling him that the girls will eliminate him if he doesn't. Harold votes for LeShawna and she is eliminated, breaking Harold's heart

It's revealed in The Aftermath: III that Courtney has a secret camera and films her fellow castmates. Geoff calls it the Courtney Cam.

In The Princess Pride, Courtney refused to partake in the biggest burrito contest that was hosted by Duncan. She calls her fellow cast mates "infected" with "reality showitis," a condition which causes people to make challenges out of mundane tasks and lose sight of the goal. After the challenge theme was announced, Courtney forcefully put her foot in a glass boot and it barely fit. Chris dubbed her as princess for the day and to avoid another lawsuit. Later on during the episode, Duncan and Justin fight over Courtney because of her beautiful voice while singing. So they fight to get to the top to save "Princess Courtney". But Justin emerges to get to the top because of his temporary alliance with Harold. Then Chris sells Courtney dolls but Courtney's lawyer wanted 80% of the profit so Chris starts making Beth dolls instead. But at the end of the episode, Courtney wins the challenge for using Justin in the challenge and recently getting Justin voted off.

In Get a Clue, Courtney starts asking for a prize after every portion of the challenge. Courtney is the cast mate who finds Chris in the safe from Ocean's Eight - Or Nine. The first challenge is collecting prints and hairs, Courtney is the first to succeed as she gets Lindsay's. She later also collects prints and hair from Duncan, claiming it was so much fun the first time (this was done by wooing him, foreshadowing a new theme of their relationship-love and lust). When turning in their collected prints and hairs, Courtney whines for a prize. Desperate to shut her up, Chris gives Courtney his cheese puffs. When Chris is seemingly murdered on the train, Courtney tells everyone it's all fake and even sends Duncan up to check the train, (again wooing him by whispering encouragement in his ear) which is discovered to be real. Courtney still tries to prove it's all fake by kicking the "dead" Chris. Duncan is believed to be the murderer by every contestant except Courtney and is hand cuffed to the wall. Lindsay finds fake clues that point to Courtney being the killer and Chris reveals the dead body is just rubber and he set Courtney up. Lindsay is proclaimed the winner, angering Courtney who already won twice in a row. Lindsay is rewarded with a night at the movies with a friend. In an attempt to annoy Courtney, Lindsay picks Duncan. Courtney then throws a fit in the confession booth, claiming that she doesn't care about Lindsay's choice of contestant, yet she obviously does. (It is slightly foggy on the subject of if Courtney was whining about losing unfairly, or Duncan in her first confessional, but it is quite obvious that she is referring to Duncan in her second confessional).

In Rock n' Rule, Courtney was the only castmate who was angered by Owen's return and tried to threatened Chris with her lawyer again, however, she stopped when Chris lied saying that Owen filed a lawsuit too. Throughout the episode, Courtney was eager to win every challenge, but loses each time. In the first challenge, Courtney displayed many tricks on a guitar, however, she lost because Duncan smashed his guitar and didn't try, which impresses Chris. Courtney lost the 2nd the challenge, because she attempted to avoid the papparazi. She later won the final part of the challenge where she angrily destroyed the whole entire hotel set. Courtney again, was given invincibility. She was later shocked along with the rest of the castmates, (except Duncan, who laughed at her mistake) when she found out that Lindsay was eliminated by voting herself off.

In Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen, Courtney tries to convince Beth to form an alliance with her. At first, Beth realizes what Courtney is planning to do, and refuses, but she later becomes friends with her. Courtney seems slightly upset that Lindsay voted herself off. In the confessional Courtney reveals that she wants the girls to have an upper hand which would explain why she wanted Justin to leave earlier. During the challenge, Courtney and Beth work together to defeat the boys, but ultimately lose and are forced out of the challenge early. Chef later has Beth and Courtney prepare a variety of deadly fish for the Kung Fu Noodle Soup being offered as that night's reward, many of which torture Courtney in her failed attempts to cook them. During her torture, Beth mockingly plays with Courtney's PDA. That night, the two girls serve the winner, Harold his reward and finally seal their alliance together.

In 2008: A Space Owen, Courtney's gift from home was a picture of her winning a debate (even after her partner walked out on her). She called Duncan a hairy beast when he gave his pillow to his pet tarantula Scruffy. She said this in the confessional, of course. Her and Beth's quick thinking gave them power to choose the order of the contestants in the next challenge. She thought making herself last would help her because she would see everyone else go before her - and likely fail. But she soon realized that her going last meant that she would have to ride the Vomit Comet when it could be filled with barf. She comforted Duncan when Scruffy was killed. Her alliance with Beth was broken and she said only she would be in the alliance. She received the last Gilded Chris, and voted for Harold, supposedly.

In Top Dog, Courtney made Duncan read a 32 page list of his faults and how to correct them. When it became time to pick an animal, she chose the shark. While trying to train it, Owen made it crazy by pouring blood in the tank. She roundhouse kicked the shark, and made sashimi out of what he coughed up. During the forest portion of the challenge, she was dumped in a lake. She beat up the shark's friends, but the old shark stole her PDA and lured her off a waterfall. After regaining her PDA, she read a message from her lawyers that said Owen was the traitor. During elimination Courtney votes for Owen's elimination, but winds up getting voted off herself. After finding out that Duncan voted for her, she scolds him for betraying her and says they're through. Owen soon joins her as Chris fired him after his cover was blown, thus eliminating him from the competition too.

Courtney was first mentioned by Duncan in Mutiny on the Soundstage. He brought her up to test Beth's claim that she likes everyone. Beth reveals Courtney once had an overbite and she is not as bullheaded as she seems. When Duncan guessed the wrong color she was thinking of, she was shown annoyed that he did not know that the color was burnt sienna.

In The Aftermath: IV, Courtney still bears a grudge against Duncan for voting her off. Nonetheless, she still offers a quiz off to settle the tie, though it's rejected. When the former contestants state their opinions on who deserves the money, Courtney doesn't get a chance to say much since Chris cuts her off due to time constraints. When it comes time to vote, Courtney can't get the pen to work and thus only gets a big squirt of ink on her ballet. Chris counts her vote as a vote for Duncan. When Duncan wins the money, Courtney kisses him, saying that a king needs a queen.

Audition tape

In her audition tape, Courtney tells the camera that she is running for student council president. She promises to conduct herself with honor and integrity if she wins, and then accidentally mixes up her two speeches by promising to donate two new pop machines for the cafeteria. Then she curses and argues with the cameraman (Tom) when he refuses to tape a re-do.

• Even though Cartoon Network edited out Courtney's cursing completely on the TV airing, they showed the unedited version of her audition on Cartoon Network's website.

Camp TV

Courtney was one of the four characters who did not appear in the series (along with Izzy, Noah and Heather). While she was not present in the series, Bridgette's old design loosely resembles Courtney due to the fact that the prototype Bridgette has freckles on her face and her eyes look more similar to Courtney's than the relaxed look that the final design of Bridgette has.

• Courtney originally did not qualify to return to Total Drama Action as a competitor, but she returned to compete in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine. She has also appeared as a commentator on The Aftermath: I and The Aftermath: II.
• Courtney is one of the few competitors that competes for all three seasons of the Total Drama Series.
  • Courtney and LeShawna were the only characters who were wrongly eliminated
  • Courtney was voted off due to Harold switching the votes in Basic Straining.
• She placed 14th in Total Drama Island and in Total Drama Action she was the 14th contestant eliminated.
• Courtney, Trent, Cody and Harold are the only four campers that can play an instrument; violin, guitar and keyboard, respectively.
• Courtney, Owen, Lindsay have lines in every episode in which she is seen in, excluding I Triple Dog Dare You! where she is briefly seen at Playa Des Losers.
• According to Total Drama Island Interactive, Courtney is also the author of a bestselling book series called "Total Triumph for Teens."
• Courtney is one of the few campers to actually curse in the show (though this was during her audition tape rather than the show itself). The others are DJ, Lindsay, and Owen.
• Courtney seems to have an interest in politics and law, mentioning she plans to "run for office" one day in Basic Straining and planned to study for her LSATs after returning home in Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island. In addition to this, she was running for student council president before joining Total Drama Island. In addition, she sues the company responsible for the show, in both seasons (failing in the first, and apparently succeeding in the second with her return)
• Courtney is one of the campers to have a crying fit. The others are Sadie, Owen, Geoff, Gwen, Tyler, Heather, Trent, LeShawna, Harold, Beth, Duncan, Lindsay, DJ, Chef Hatchet, and Chris McLean.
  • She cried after Bridgette broke her violin in Not Quite Famous.
  • She also cried in the confessional after not being able to face her fear of green jelly in Phobia Factor. Despite backing out from facing her fear of green jelly by diving into a pool of it, Courtney ends up falling into it anyway in the special, twenty episodes after Phobia Factor.
• From Who Can You Trust? to X-Treme Torture, a chain of bad karma seems to be apparent in the three eliminations within these episodes.
  • Courtney's grudge with Sadie over a minor incident resulted in Sadie's elimination in Who Can You Trust?, with Courtney not feeling bad at all for making Sadie cry over her loss.
  • After that, Courtney herself was eliminated in Basic Straining due to Harold tampering with the votes in order to get back at Duncan for pranking him, even though Courtney had nothing to do with that conflict. Some feel this was karma repaying Courtney for her senseless indignation towards Sadie. Harold did not regret banishing Courtney (even though she had never done anything to him at that point) until much later on in the series.
  • And in X-Treme Torture, Harold was the one who was eliminated due to failing his challenge after accidentally seeing Heather's exposed breasts. No one had realized what Harold did to eliminate Courtney at that time or why he failed the challenge
    • Chris Mclean even mentioned in the TDI Rundown that karma had a play in Harold's elimination as well, for involving Courtney in his feud with Duncan.
• Courtney hits her eye twice, first in Not So Happy Campers - Part 2 (in the beginning of the show) and next in Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island (in the later half of the show). She hit her right eye the 1st time and her left eye the 2nd.
• Courtney is the only one to have seen what is believed to be civilization bordering the island. It is possible that this was merely a trick played by Chris, given that the man she saw over the wall was later shown to be working for the show in Riot On Set. Then again, he could have merely been on a lunch break.
• Courtney is the only person on the show to sue someone, as Owen did not sue in Rock n Rule for the money to pay off the cheese cellar; Heather at one time threatened to sue but she shows no signs of doing so, so far.
• Courtney has an upgraded expression in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine. She appears to have another one after throwing a tantrum in Get a Clue.
• Courtney is one of the few characters to have worn a wig. The others are Sadie, Lindsay, Owen, and Heather.
• Both Courtney and Izzy have returned to Total Drama Action after an Aftermath show.
• According to an interview with Jennifer Pertsch, one of the producers of Total Drama Action, Courtney is based on Reese Witherspoon’s character, Tracey Flick, in the 1999 movie Election.
• Courtney is the only Killer Bass to also be a Killer Grip, though Izzy was part of the Killer Bass in Not So Happy Campers - Part 1.
• Courtney, Heather and Harold are the only known campers to try and get Owen voted off the show. However, unlike Heather and Harold, she succeeded.
• Courtney and Harold are the only campers seen to have freckles.
• Courtney and Heather are the only two campers seen to tie their hair when they are in their pajamas or swimsuits.
• Courtney is shown in Dial M for Merger and Super Hero-ld to be talented at mixed martial arts.
• It is revealed in Dial M for Merger that Courtney is lactose-intolerant.
  • However, in One Million Bucks, B.C., she eats a lobster with Belgian Chocolate (although she could have been talking about the Gilded Chris which is also made of Belgian Chocolate).
  • In Get A Clue, she is shown eating cheese puffs, though it may of been processed cheese.
  • In Mutiny on the Soundstage Beth once saw Courtney eat ice cream in the bathrooms.
• Courtney is the only person to wear her pajamas while using the confessional.
• Courtney and Heather are the only contestants that have gained invincibility twice when they are present for voting.
• Both Courtney and Owen have some knowledge of exotic cheeses. Owen reveals this in The Aftermath: III and Courtney in Super Hero-ld (although she probably got some cheese knowledge from going to the cheese factory).
• She could be considered the antagonist of Total Drama Action after returning as a castmate. Courtney's role as a main antagonist is because every other castmate, except Duncan, sees her as the biggest threat against them in the competition.
  • Like Justin and Heather, Courtney has used Beth to get further. But unlike Heather and Justin, Courtney did not manipulate Beth, but rather used her in an actual, albeit disfunctional alliance.
• In Princess Pride, Courtney has a doll made after her, this is later changed to Beth dolls.
• In Princess Pride, Courtney is given her own CD with her hits on them. Harold is shown in the confessional listening to her CD and announces he'll always think of LeShawna to LeShawna's anger.
  • Ironically, Courtney's voice actor, Emilie-Claire Barlow, is a singer herself.
• In Rock 'n' Rule it is revealed that Courtney had been in a band Called The A-Type Psychotic Crazies. However they disbanded before their first project since all five of them wanted to be the lead singers.
  • The band's name resembles Courtney's stereotype, "The Type A."
• Despite having a dislike to Eva's anger in Total Drama Island, in both seasons, she seems to have adapted many of Eva's traits including her strength and temper problems.
  • In Haut Camp-ture, she is able to pull a lamppost out of the ground and bend it around Harold
  • In Million Dollar Babies, she was able to defeat Duncan in a wrestle who is considered to be the toughest remaining male competitor at the time.
  • In Rock n' Rule, she was able to destroy the most of the entire set and was able to lift up a sofa with Lindsay on it (without any sign of weakening).
  • In Rock 'n' Rule, Courtney appears to be skilled at playing the guitar.
• Courtney is one of the two characters to wear a some type of princess hat, the other being Heather in I Triple Dog Dare You!
• Courtney has had a near-death experience:
  • She was tortured by the variety of fish she had to cook for the Kung Fu Noodle Soup in Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen, having been stung by jellyfish, bitten by piranhas, and swung around by a squid.
• Courtney loses invincibility in 2008: A Space Owen, making it the 1st time she does not win invincibility in an elimination challenge in Total Drama Action, ending her invincibility winning streak.
• Courtney is responsible for the elimination of every male on her team since her first appearance in the competition.
• Currently, Bridgette is the only girl that Courtney has as a good friend.
• It has become known that Courtney won a debate even after her partner walked out on her. She takes great pride in this, and it being one of her fondest memories.
• Courtney is the only antagonist in the Total Drama series that is in a relationship, since Heather doesn't like Harold, and Justin doesn't have a girlfriend.
• While Courtney placed 4th in the second season, Duncan also placed 4th in the first season. Ironically, they were a couple.
• Courtney and Izzy both know a form of martial arts.
• Both Courtney and Duncan have taken the million over each other.  Courtney in Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island, and Duncan in Top Dog.
• She and Owen are the second pair to be voted off in a double elimination, the first being Bridgette and Geoff in Alien Resurr-eggtion. 
• This is ironic because when Courtney returned, Owen was eliminated.
• Courtney throws her PDA out of the lamosine's window shown in a bonus clip. She also lost her binding contract over Duncan.
• Courtney is one of a few people on the show to fight a dangerous animal she has wrestled a shark in the episode Top Dog.
• Though Owen was the first character she was responsible for voting off in Total Drama Action, he was the first to welcome her to the island when the show started.
• She votes for Duncan in the Aftermath IV.
  • She is the only one of five people whose votes can be figured out: Owen voted for Duncan, DJ voted for Beth, and Izzy voted for Explosivo. In the ending where Beth wins, Justin states he voted for Beth.
